"This is the poster part of my zine about our canine comrades, Negro Matapacos (the patron saint of protestors and street dogs), Loukanikos and Kallenos (the Greek riot dogs) and Red Dog (the Pilbara wanderer, a proud and paid up TWU member).

We got some really sad news last week that our own beautiful old dog is very unwell. He’s on a mission to impress the vets though, is refusing to let the bad news get him down in spite of everything, and he is still demanding his walks, eating sardines and digging holes all over the garden in between naps in the sun. I never met a dog like Frank, this strange little old man that insists on sleeping in our toilet and whose voice would definitely sound a bit like Gandalf if he could talk. Frank’s given us so much happiness and made our lives so much fuller and I’m hoping we can repay him the favour as we spend the rest of his days together. Dogs are just the best and I wanted to pay tribute to Frank and all the other good boys who remind us of how bloody beautiful our lives can be. So I made this little zine about some of our famous canine comrades in his honour, and honestly it’s made me feel so much better knowing that if there’s a doggie heaven, he’s going to be in wonderful company."
